On June 19th, during the Thirty-eighth Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, Mr. Thierry Valle, President of the Coordination of the Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP LC), on behalf of 7 NGOs, gave an oral statement at the Human Rights Council. This statement calls for attention on the continuous persecution of The Church of Almighty God by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and urges Chinese government to respect religious liberty and stop the persecution of The Church of Almighty God.

US Congressional Briefing: A Call for Sanctions Against the CCP for Human Rights Violations

On October 11, 2018, a U.S. Congressional briefing entitled “A Final Attempt to Defend Human Rights in China” was held on Capitol Hill, Washington. Christians from The Church of Almighty God(CAG) were invited to attend and speak to congressional staff and foreign policy experts on the ongoing situation of persecution of Christians of this Church by the CCP. A number of representatives of other groups suffering brutal suppression by the Chinese government also spoke. Ms Tina L. Mufford, Deputy Director of Research and Policy at the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, also attended as a special guest and spoke on the dire state of human rights in China.

Christians From The Church of Almighty God Join Amnesty International in Appealing for Human Rights
      On November 19, 2017, the French Jaurès Team of Amnesty International, a long-time human rights watchdog organization in various countries, held a running activity called Run for Freedom (Courir pour la Liberté) at the Buttes-Chaumont Park (Parc des Buttes Chaumont) in Paris, aiming to call on the Chinese and Turkish authorities to immediately cease persecution of its Turkey chairman, Taner Kılıç, Chinese women's rights activist Su Changlan, and nine other Turkish human rights activists.
